For they confirm that among all your virtues

shines a treasure of eloquence and wisdom.

And if you should give free rein to your genius,

eminent Clio would remain in the west;

because to Parnassus new paths you've opened,

for which you deservedly receive praises,

further laurels, and renewed ascendancy.
